Documentaries
Below is a curated list of documentaries that offer insightful perspectives on several key issues, illuminating complex topics and fostering a deeper understanding of their impact.
Israelism
The documentary Israelism follows two young American Jews, Simone and Eitan, who, raised to support Israel unquestioningly, experience a profound shift after witnessing Palestinian suffering. Joining a growing movement of young American Jews advocating for Palestinian freedom, they challenge traditional pro-Israel stances, revealing a generational divide within American Judaism. Featuring perspectives from prominent voices, the film, directed by Jewish filmmakers with similar backgrounds, explores how evolving Jewish views on Israel impact both the region and Jewish identity.

Tantura
Hundreds of Palestinian villages were depopulated in 1948. To Israelis, it was the War of Independence, to Palestinians it was 'Al Nakba' - the Catastrophe. Director Alon Schwarz revisits former Israeli soldiers as well as Palestinian residents in an effort to re-examine what happened in Tantura, the location of an alleged, Israeli-perpetrated massacre, and find out why 'Al Nakba' is still a taboo in Israeli society.

Investigating war crimes in Gaza I Al Jazeera Investigations
This feature length investigation by Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit exposes Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip through the medium of photos and videos posted online by Israeli soldiers themselves during the year long conflict. The material reveals a range of illegal activities, from wanton destruction and looting to the demolition of entire neighborhoods and murder.
